Defibrillator training for the community this weekend!

defib training

Defibrillators are installed and operational in Westbury and there are free sessions for the community in how to operate one in an emergency:

Sessions will be at The Laverton on the following dates:
Saturday 14th October          10-11.30am and 11.30am – 1pm
Tuesday 24th October          6.30-8.30pm

Defibrillators have been installed in five locations across the community:
The Laverton, Bratton Road
The Library, Edward Street
Leigh Park Community Centre, Leigh Park Way
Tesco Express, Fore Street
One Stop Shop, Queens Square

Although you don’t need any training to operate a defibrillator, the Town Council have arranged some awareness sessions with Heartsafe and would like to invite members of the public to attend these in October.

Session will be at The Laverton on the following dates:
Saturday 14th October         10-11.30am and 11.30am – 1pm
Tuesday 24th October          6.30-8.30pm

Please register by emailing l.bale@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk or by calling the Town Council on 01373 822232
