Westbury Area Board awards almost £6,000 in community grants

At the Westbury Area Board last night multiple grants were awarded to a number of community groups and organisations in order to support their fantastic work.

Bratton Recreation Ground were awarded £1000 towards various items of equipment to support the  maintenance of pitches

West Wilts Society of Model Engineers were awarded £750 towards a new milling machine

Laverton Institute Trust were awarded over £2000 towards a new projector for their hall which will benefit the wider community using this great facility

Fairfield Farm College were awarded over £2000 towards sports equipment for use on their recently installed MUGA (multi use games area). This equipment will have huge benefit for not only the students but for the community groups who regularly use the facilities.
